Zinc oxide white seal 99.5% purity. It is produced in the indirect ( French) process. Metallic zinc is melted in a furnace and vaporized. The immediate reaction of the zinc vapor with oxygen from the air produces ZnO. The particle of zinc oxide are transported via a cooling
duct and are collected at a bag filter station.
Application – Zinc oxide white seal is widely used in all rubber goods including Tyre & Tubes. ZnO in rubber contributes to chemical reinforcement and resistance to heat ageing. it is also widely used in manufacturing of zinc stearate which further used as releasing agent in rubber, polyurethane, polyester processing system.
